Rumor Patrol: Huge Xbox 720 Details Leak in Microsoft Document

While Nintendo is jumping on the next generation of consoles early with the Wii U, Sony and Microsoft don’t appear to be doing the same. Microsoft in particular seem content to just update the 360 again and keep that going for a couple more years, if their press conference at E3 this year was any indication. Yet that hasn’t stopped people from speculating about their next console, and if a recent document that appeared on the internet says anything, Microsoft may indeed be working on it.

The document in question listed various details about an ‘Xbox 720′, going on for over 50 pages. In it, it said that the console would release in 2013, at the surprisingly reasonable price of $299. It also said that it would come packaged with an updated version of Kinect, simply called ‘Kinect V2′. The console would contain Blu-Ray functionality and be able to play games that look approximately four-to-six times better than current 360 games. No specific schematics were given, though, so the stories regarding the console’s processing power are still unconfirmed.
The document also listed some Augmented Reality glasses codenamed ‘Fortaleza’, but wouldn’t be released until 2014. So presumably this new feature would be a cross between Kinect and the fabled virtual reality glasses people have been wanting since the early 90s. It also said that the Xbox 720 would have an ‘always-on’ feature – though for what purpose wasn’t clarified – and would also be able to use apps during gameplay for the sake of multitasking.


 Granted, this could be a forged document meant to drive up discussion and spread rumors. For one thing, the document appeared earlier on another site back in May, so this isn’t the first time it’s made its rounds. For another, the document itself is dated as almost two years old, having been originally made in August of 2010. So it seems unlikely that any of this information is in any way accurate. But strangely enough, some of the information on the document has come true – most recently being the Smart Glass. So this is either an actual document or a very elaborate forgery.

- The document in question has now been taken down by the law firm Covington & Burling LLP, who just so happens to represent Microsoft. Whether this lends credence to the theory that it was a real document from the company, or is just an attempt to dispel any rumors, is up for debate. Either way, we’ll keep you posted if any new information surfaces.

People he loves have been hurt in the past and are being hurt again, so he becomes a vigilante to put a stop to it. He is in a "gray area," being neither good nor bad. The player defines which side he is closer to.

Joseph Demarco

















Joseph Demarco is a philanthropist and enemy in Watch Dogs. Pearce draws him out by using himself as bait and entering his art show, Dot ConneXion. By eavesdropping a phone conversation, Pearce learns that Demarco is on the way to the show and sneaks out. He sees Demarco's car and scrambles some traffic lights, causing a large car crash. He then uses the cars as cover while killing Demarco's guards. Once he is done with the guards, he executes Demarco with a shot to the head. However, this whole scene could have played out differently if Pearce hadn't hacked the traffic lights.

Announced at Ubisoft's E3 2012 Press Conference, Watch Dogs is an open-world urban survival game with a measure of tactical stealth action thrown into the mix.

Watch Dogs will be coming to the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC. When asked whether Watch Dogs will also be released on Wii U, Ubisoft's Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing Tony Key said, Not at this time. We have so many titles in development for Wii U right now that we need to keep that team focused and this is a very very ambitious game. But its not out of the question.
An Interesting Premise

Watch Dogs is set in Chicago, where players take control of a hacker named Aiden Pearce. Aiden uses (and hacks into) the interconnected information networks to make the modern world's electronic and computerized devices work to his advantage -- a "technomancer."

Using his abilities, he goes about locating and eradicating his enemies by lethal means, including use of jamming technology that can disable cell phones and even cause traffic accidents. [1] Some may even go as far as describing Watch Dogs as "Assassin's Creed" with hacking.

At the start of the game, Aiden's abilites will be very limited, with a small control over the city. As the game progresses, however, the amount of abilities available to the character will increase dramatically with options to choose how to extend his control over the city depending on a specific play-style.

In a press release, Creative Director at Ubisoft Jonathan Morin says, "Watch Dogs goes beyond the limits of today's open-world games by giving players the ability to control an entire city. In Watch Dogs, anything connected to the city's Central Operating System becomes a weapon. By pushing the boundaries, we can provide players with action and access to information on a scale that's never been seen in a video game before."

What's Next For PlayStation

It's been said before and I'll say it again: The impending launch of Nintendo's newest console has stirred up the rumor mill, as fans speculate about what Microsoft and Sony are going to do in response. Does the Wii U mean we'll see a new PlayStation soon? There are a lot of people out there who believe so. So let's take a look at what these people are saying and see if we can glean some concrete info on the PS4.
First of all, the project apparently has a hypothetical title; the name "Orbis" has been floating around the Internet lately. Of course, this would just be an early production title, like how the Wii U was once called Project Café, or how the PlayStation Vita was once called NGP (Next Generation Portable). In fact, I'm willing to bet money that the next Sony console will be called the PlayStation 4. There's no reason for them to change the name now, confusing potential customers and creating a headache for the marketing department. No, if Sony knows what's good for them, they'll stick with "PS4."

Apparently, a source told VG24/7 that Sony was aiming to push out their next console before Microsoft does theirs. However, I'm not sure I believe this. I mean, both Microsoft and Sony would do well to keep their eyes on the Wii U before making any concrete plans for their next-gen consoles. If Nintendo's tablet controller ends up being a hit (the way the Wiimote was in its glory days) both competitors will want to consider how they can implement tech that can compete (the way the Kinect and Move tried to steal the Wii's thunder, only too little too late.) A caveat, though, is that I don't think Sony should change its controller. I mean, they've kept it for three generations now. Those of us who fell in love with the DualShock back in the 1990s will cry foul if Sony changes it on us now.
And speaking of controllers, we're being told to expect an upgraded motion control setup. This would probably come in the form of a Move 2.0 or something to that effect. However, if Sony wants to be serious about motion gaming, they need to pack motion controls in the box with the console. The Wii U will be supporting the Wiimote, and the Xbox 720 is said to be including Kinect (or Kinect-like) functionality on day one. If Sony markets their "Move 2.0" as an optional accessory, they simply won't be able to keep up with the competition. Of course, perhaps motion gaming is falling out of the public eye anyway. We're certainly not as impressed by it as we were when the Wii first launched. Could avoiding motion controls in the next generation actually prove to be a smart financial decision in the long run? There's a chance it could. Either way, Sony will need to tread carefully as far as motion gaming is concerned; it's a pretty risky endeavor at this point.

Some other sources have claimed the PS4 will have a feature that blocks used games. But this rumor popped up in response to the rumor that the future Xbox would have that type of functionality, and therefore seems like a stretch to me. Also, I don't think the industry is ready for that sort of thing. I mean, it would certainly upset a lot of gamers, and with the PS3 being this generation's least popular console (judging by sales figures), Sony really isn't in the position to upset their fan base.
Now, they could potentially release a disc-free console that was 100 percent dependent upon downloadable games. That would solve the "used games" dilemma, though I don't think technology has advanced far enough to make that a reality. In fact, my fellow Cheat Code Central writer Shelby Reiches has already explained this in his speculative piece on the Xbox 720. Personally, I don't think hardware manufacturers will be trying download-only versions of major home consoles until late into the next generation. As the PS4/720 generation starts winding down, we could potentially see Sony or Microsoft test the waters with a scaled-down, less expensive, disc-free version of their current console to see if it's something we're ready for by then. I just don't see this becoming a reality before that.
Speaking of pricing, I'm willing to bet that Sony has learned from its PS3 blunder that pricing the console too high on day one could spell disaster. Sony will have to carefully consider the price point for their next console, determining which features are worth additional cost and which need to be left alone to keep the price low. In this current economic climate, I just don't see Sony able to convince gamers to spend more than $400-ish at launch. And even that seems pretty high. Sony will probably have to consider selling the first run of PS4s at a considerable loss in order to drum up enough consumer interest in the early stages of its lifespan.


 The PS4 is also rumored to not be backward compatible. Now, even though the PS2 and early models of the PS3 featured backward compatibility, I can actually see this rumor ultimately being true. Sony has since stopped producing consoles with any sort of backward compatibility, as the Vita doesn't play physical copies of PSP games and new models of the PS3 don't play PS2 games. It must be noted, though, that the PS3 will still play PSOne games, and both the PS3 and Vita will play digital copies of many of their predecessors' titles. I imagine Sony will ultimately go this route, being able to sell us downloadable "PS3 Classics" at some point.
So what's under the hood? Well, sources say to expect an AMD x64 CPU coupled with Southern Islands GPU. To put that into context, rumors have the Xbox 720 pegged with the AMD x64, though with a different GPU. To the layman, the PS4 and Xbox 720 will be on fairly equal footing in terms of power, though über-nerds will forever be duking it out over which GPU is better. Some things never change, eh?
So what do we know about the PS4 right now? Well, pretty much nothing for certain, but there are enough rumors out there to get us speculating anyway. But while it's fun to think about, it's certainly not time to start throwing out our PS3s quite yet. Especially since Sony still claims to not be budging from the ten-year life expectancy it originally predicted for the PS3. Either way, I'm not holding my breath for a new console announcement from Sony at E3 this year.

[PS3] White Knight Chronicles 2 International

White Knight Chronicles was initially announced at the Tokyo Game Show in 2006. That first trailer was extremely impressive, and ultimately became one of my top reasons for purchasing a PlayStation 3. In 2008 the game was released in Japan, but it would take two more long years before it would reach the shores of any other region. By the time the game was finally available I had nearly forgotten about my initial excitement. How exasperated and disappointed I felt when White Knight Chronicles turned out to be an uninspired, boring cliche of a game.

Despite its faults, every portion of White Knight Chronicles does show the potential to grow into something great. Rather than pursuing any of those ideas though, the game simplifies them, or over uses them, while never letting them evolve into truly interesting ideas. Luckily White Knight Chronicles 2 was announced last year, and Level 5 has the opportunity to develop the game they should have made originally.

Story
The story of White Knight Chronicles begins in the kingdom of Balandor, where a princess is having a coming-of-age banquet which is raided by an evil organization called Magi. A boy called Leonard grabs the princess' hand and leads her to safety in the castle cellars, where he finds a strange suit of armor that transforms him into the White Knight—an ancient warrior with the strength to defeat the Magi forces. This marks the beginning of a life-changing fantasy experience, fighting against the fiercest enemies.[5]

The motive behind the kidnapping is the princess' ability to unlock any of the five knights, of which she is unaware of at first. The leader of Magi is a general called Dregias. Nobody knows what Dregias looks like because his body and face are hidden under his dark armor. What is known is the fact that he is capable of transforming into the winged Black Knight, Ebonwings

White Knight Chronicles II continues the epic story of Leonard with a brand new 30+ hour single player campaign. Featuring a fully redesigned, dynamic new combat system, you can create and customise your own exciting attack strategies and combos. With online play for up to six players, you can choose to tackle co-op quests or free-roam the game world as a team, plus the Georama feature returns allowing you to build your own customizable town online. White Knight Chronicles II also supports easy-play chat (via keyboard) and voice chat.


The most troubling part of White Knight Chronicles is its annoyingly banal story. When a beautiful princess with mystical powers is kidnapped, a naive youth does the only thing he possibly can: He discovers a mysterious giant suit of armor and gallantly chases after his missing love. It’s no understatement that in the first half hour you’ll roll your eyes until you’re legally blind. There are moments when the backstory or sideplots take hold and grab at your attention. You’ll beg Level 5 to go further into detail, or redirect the story to focus on some of these richer subplots, but inevitably these feelings go unfulfilled.
Instead the story is continuously diluted by shallow characters that are difficult to empathize with. When confronted by death, characters will become instantly overemotional and then ignore the occurrence entirely within the following five minutes. There is a level of charm in each character’s simplicity, a charisma in their lack of complication, but it’s ultimately that void of dynamics that makes them so difficult to identify with.

Combat in White Knight Chronicles, on the other hand, is at first oddly compelling. What appears to be  action based combat in the vein of the recent Final Fantasy games, boils down to a turn based system in an open field. Through each battle you’ll acquire action points, which are then spent on combinations of your own design, or saved until you’ve hoarded enough to transform into the giant Knight. From there it’s your typical RPG mechanics: mana, spells, status effects, enemy weaknesses and so on.



Enemies come in two styles, normal enemies that often fight in groups, and giant enemies that are comparable in size to your White Knight. The giant enemies are, naturally, much stronger than the normal ones, but they never became overly challenging in my playthrough. Therein lies the disappointing aspect of combat in White Knight Chronicles. You can spend hours designing combos that take advantage of enemy weaknesses, you can switch between your characters and micromanage them perfectly, or spend your time searching for rare components and upgrading each of your items with elemental properties. You can do an amazing amount of things to buff your character, but you never need to.
After an extended period of boredom I began casually charging into battle and mashing the action button, or what equates to an auto attack. Over the course of numerous dungeons my party never went below half health, never ran out of mana, and I never had to alter my combat scheme or upgrade my heroes once. Despite that, I performed exceedingly well. As someone who adores the tedium of planning within an RPG, the realization that most of the systems were extraneous ruined what little interest I had left.


Multiplayer offers a certain extent of respite for the weary player. White Knight Chronicles features two unique systems for online play. The first is a town system, where each individual is given a plot of land to build upon. Depending on your town’s design, you may gain access to different shop supplies or crafting items. Your town is permanently online, so visitors my come and go looking for certain supplies. A town is also the meeting place for the second online feature: cooperative missions. You can invite three of your friends, or join three random players in a game that’s typically a small dungeon with a large boss at the end. Of course, there’s also plenty of loot that won’t be found in the single player experience to be found. While I didn’t progress far enough to confirm this,  I would hope that the quests actually provide some sort of challenge as you progress.
Your avatar in the multiplayer experience is customized at the beginning of the single player, and fully playable throughout it as well. Your odd creation will follow the party on their adventure, never saying a single word,  but always watching. The novelty wears thin early on, and you’ll find it hard not to notice your character creepily standing in the back of every cut-scene.


Also worth noting is a certain amount of bugs that will scratch at your determination: line of sight in combat occasionally glitches and you won’t be able to attack; enemy health bars occasionally do not update after damage; after cut-scenes you may find you have different party members readied; lip synchronization is as off-putting as you’d expect from a JRPG, not even mentioning the voice acting. None of the bugs are game-breaking however, but don’t help its cause.
The worst part of White Knight Chronicles is that it never crosses that line and becomes a bad game, which ironically makes the experience all the more frustrating. Instead it’s constantly unrewarding, unwilling to show any emotion for a player to hold on to. The most poignant memories I have of the game all involve a wish that the game had done more, pushed further, or tried harder. It’s akin to watching television with a friend who has the remote. As they switch channels you’ll pass a number of interesting shows, but your friend passes them by or even worse, stops just long enough  on a dramatic scene for you to be involved and then jumps to the shopping channel. Ultimately, any experience with White Knight Chronicles will leave you unfulfilled.
The game I hoped for in 2006 was never made, and even had the game been released worldwide in 2008 it would still be substandard. I can’t recommend White Knight Chronicles as anything more than rental when nothing else is available.

Warriors Orochi 2


Pasca kematian Orochi pada seri pertama, dunia ciptaan orochi terbagi atas beberapa kekuatan yang dikuasai oleh para tokoh Zaman Tiga Negara di China dan para penguasa Jepang era Sengoku Jidai yang damai. Namun kedamaian tersebut tidaklah lama. Para bawahan Orochi yang selamat pada pertempuran sebelumnya membuat pasukan mereka sendiri.Tujuan mereka dirahasiakan pada awalnya dan muncul setelah beberapa makhluk mistis, yakni Taigong Wang, Fu Xi, Nu Wa, dan Yoshitsune Minamoto muncul di antara kelompok-kelompok baru tersebut. Tujuan pasukan Orochi baru ini adalah membangkitkan kembali Orochi yang lebih kuat dari Orohi sebelumnya.Warriors Orochi pertama memperkenalkan 79 karakter yang dapat digunakan antara seri Dynasty Warriors dan Samurai Warriors. Di game ini dikenalkan 13 karakter baru dengan total 92 karakter.

Beberapa karakter mungkin tidak terlibat pada seri Warriors Orochi, namun pernah muncul sebelumnya. Semisal pada Dynasty Warriors 3, Fu Xi dan Nu Wa akan menjadi karakter baru. Karena game ini dirilis pasca Samurai Warriors 2: Xtreme Legends, beberapa karakter seperti Yoshimoto Imagawa, Kojiro Sasaki, Katsuie Shibata, Toshiie Maeda , Motochika Chosokabe dan Gracia diperbaiki lagi.

Penambahan karakter dalam Warriors Orochi 2 antara lain:
  • Taigong Wang, atau dikenal dengan Jiang Ziya, Yang merupakan seorang strategis handal dan seorang Perdana Menteri pada Dinasti Zhou di China. Dia adalah orang yang dapat dengan mudah membaca taktik Da Ji di dunia ciptaan Orochi tersebut. Ia menggunakan fishing rod sebagai senjata. Kiyomori Taira adalah seorang jenderal militer di masa Periode Heian di Jepang. Ia berencana membangkitkan Orochi dan orang satu-satunya yang dapat melakukan upacara tersebut. Ia menggunakan Tasbih Raksasa guna senjata.
  • Yoshitsune Minamoto Lawan Kiyomori yang juga seorang jenderal di era Heian. Ia melawan Lu Bu, namun diselamatkan oleh Wu sebelum pertempuran selesai. Ia menggunakan senjata pedang laser yang dapat mengeluarkan energi dari senjata ditanganya.

  •  Sun Wukong, juga dikenal dengan Kera Sakti salah satu tokoh utama dalam 4 cerita besar di China, Perjalanan ke Barat. Dengan senjata andalanya yakni Ruyi Jingu Bang. Karena diselamatkan Kiyomori, Sun Wukong bertarung untuk Orochi.
  • Himiko adalah seorang ratu penyihir di Jepang Kuno yang punya hubungan dengan Kerajaan Wei di China. Ia dipersenjatai dengan DogÜ. ia adalah karakter yang berteman dengan Da Ji.
  • Orochi X (Shin Orochi di vesi Jepang) atau Orochi baru yang dibangkitkan oleh Kiyomori Taira dan Da Ji, Ia lebih kuat dari versi sebelumnya.

Ada pula dua karakter baru yakni, Dodomeki dan Gyuki, Yang hanya dapat dimainkan pada mode Survival dan VS. Mereka adalah model-model baru untuk para pembantu Orochi yang baru. Dodomeki punya kemampuan tipe SPD dan punya kesamaan gerak dengan Kotaro Fuma, sedang Gyuki memiliki tipe PWR dengan model karakter baru.

Saat Da ji kepergok tengah menyusun kekuatan di Shi Ting, Liu Bei berencana untuk membalaskan dendam Shu pada mereka. Setelah mendapatkan jalan buntu karena benteng Da Ji terkunci, munculah seorang misterius yang membantu mereka yakni, Taigong Wang.

Model Game Baru

Ada beberapa konsep baru dalam seri baru ini:

    Team assists: Saat tokoh yang digunakan menyerang, akan ada batuan dari tokoh yang menjadi reserve, tergantung kelas yang dipakai oleh 3 karakter yang dipakai(Power, Speed, Technique).

    Strategies setiap Karakter mempunyai strategi tertentu. Jika player dapat menyelesaikan syarat tersebut, maka strategi tersebut akan muncul. Berikut strategi yang dapat dipakai;

+ Face Off, meningkatkan defence tiap officer melawan officer musuh. Biasanya membunuh 300 musuh. + Dance, meningkatkan life gauge oficer. Membunuh 1 officer setelah game 10 menit berlangsung. + Command, meningkatkan moral pasukan. Membunuh 5 officer. + Shield, meningkatkan defence panglima perang. Membunuh 100 musuh. + Volley, meningkatkan serangan range attack prajurit, Membunuh 2 officer.

    Triple attacks: Saat karakter mendapatkan musou penuh, karakter dapat mengeluarkan serangan triple yang sangat besar efeknya.

Mode Baru

Ada tambahan permainan baru, yakni;

1. Fusi dan upgrade senjata, senjata dapat digabungkan dengan senjata lain agar mendapatkan efek lain seperti Slay, Bolt, Multi, dll. Senjata dapat pula menjadi senjata yang kuat dengan melakukan upgrade dengan sayarat-syarat tertentu.

2. Harta Karun, akan ada misi rahasia dan hadiahnya di game ini. player harus melakukan misi tersebut dan mendapatkan harta karun untuk upgrade senjata.

3. Versus mode, dua player kini tak hanya melakukan korporasi melulu. Mereka juga dapat bertarung satu sama lain dengan beberapa pilihan pertarungan.

4. Survival mode, seperti halnya game genre fighting, permainan ini mengandalkan karakter bertahan melawan karakter lain dari game tersebut.

5. Dream Mode, layaknya model Xtreme Legend, game ini menyajikan cerita yang berbeda dari apa yang player dapat dari cerita yang sebenarnya.
Misi

Setidaknya ada 20 misi dalam game ini yang berasal dari seri Dynasty Warriors dan Samurai Warriors.

[3DS] Kingdom Hearts 3D : Dream Drop Distance


Kabar gembira bagi para pecinta Kingdom Hearts. Studio pengembang Square Enix baru saja mengumumkan tanggal resmi peluncuran seri terbaru berjudul Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance.

Game yang diperuntukkan bagi handheld Nintendo 3DS ini tersedia pada 31 Juli mendatang.

Alur cerita Kingdom Hearts masih berfokus pada dua tokoh utama Sora dan Riku. Mereka berdua dikisahkan menjalani ujian Mark of Mastery sebagai syarat dalam menjadi Keyblade Master. Karakter Disney seperti Mickey Mouse dan Donald Duck masih hadir sebagai pendukung storyline.

Selain Kingdom Hearts 3D, game spin-off Theatrhythm Final Fantasy disebut-sebut segera rilis pada tanggal 3 Juli. Bagi gamer yang ingin mencoba keduanya, dapat mengunjungi stand Square Enix di acara PAX East 2012 di Boston, Massachusetts, Amerika Serikat, akhir pekan ini.

Dijuduli secara lengkap sebagai Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, baru-baru ini telah ditunjukkan dalam trailer sepanjang 8 menit oleh Square Enix di ajang Jump Fiesta.
Sayangnya dalam versi YouTube, footage atas gameplay-nya tampil dalam bingkai kecil di antara potongan kaca.
Berita bagusnya adalah kelanjutan terbaru dari Kingdom Hearts tersebut juga telah dipastikan bakal ditranslasikan untuk segera mendatangi wilayah Amerika serta Eropa. Begitulah konfirmasi resmi yang diberikan oleh Square Enix.

[Gameplay] The two playable characters are Sora and Riku, control of whom rotates throughout the game through the use of a gameplay element called the "Drops" system. This system features a Drop Gauge which gradually depletes on its own over time, automatically switching control between Sora and Riku once it empties. The player is able to keep the gauge from emptying by attacking enemies, and can switch characters at will using save points.
The game sees the return of the "Command Deck" system which was introduced in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep and re-utilized in Re:coded. One of the key elements of the game is the "free-flows" mechanic, allowing the player to utilize the surroundings for movements and attacking with the execution of the Y button.The game's most significant feature is the ability to hunt and collect Dream Eaters, with each individual Dream Eater companion providing Sora and Riku access to varying abilities, attacks, and cooperative actions. Many elements of the game utilize the touch screen, such as throwing enemies or chaining various attacks. The game also has interactive cut-scenes and events.
The game is compatible with the Circle Pad Pro, which can be used to control the camera. The game also comes with AR functionality, allowing players to play with the Dream Eaters that they can catch.

DOTA 2 Patch Notes (June 14, 2012)


Valve has released yet another update for Dota 2. This unexpected update brings a massive number of features to the game. This patch ships are huge number of bug fixes with the new heroes (Gryocopter, Phantom Assassin and Chaos Knight) and they  are now added in Captain’s Mode.


The user interface and hero selector once again received an overhaul. Now you can design (drag n drop) the hero grid view according to your needs and share it with your friends. The customize option has been added there in case you need to switch items.


The Aghanim Scepter item tooltip has been improved a lot, it now shows Scepter upgrade cooldown/duration on applicable heroes. The Dota 2 bots have also received some tweaks, Chaos knight bot has been added. Valve is continuously improving/updating Dota 2 to attract other genre players, hopefully they do so. DOTA 2 BOTS

- On Easy and Easier, bots will no longer consider whether a target is currently slowed when determining whether to slow/stun.
- Bots are now more likely to push late-game when they are feeling indecisive.

Rumors

So Activison has already planned out the next Call of Duty and it's no doubt already in production. After hearing just this week that the next Call of Duty will be a direct sequel to Black Ops, I went back to play Black Ops for its campaign to see if I could find any hints or clues to the next game. What I found led me to speculate about the "sequel" part of the rumor. About half way through the game you take part in a mission to find Nova 6 on a ship deep in the Arctic Circle. At the start of the mission the description is noticeably longer than the rest of the descriptions for other missions. Take a look in the picture below.

The reason this stands out to me is simple. Treyarch had a pretty large focus on Resnov throughout the game. They also created many questions about his appearance that need answering. One of the questions that I think points to the rumored Iron Wolf game is why is Resnov in the prisoner camp in Siberia? Something about that level just screams "Iron Wolf" to me.

Going back to the picture above it says "Unit 45 last known alias after action: The Wolf." So my best guess is the next Call of Duty will feature a fleshed out story about Resnov and his buddy Dimitri Petrenk and their actions after the end of World War II. Also if you start the video at 3:14 Dimitri asks, "What happened in Stalingrad, between you and Dragovich?" So maybe it will focus on the events on how Resnov came to be part of the Nova 6 conspiracy and such. Who knows? Kotick: New Call of Duty planned for 2012, Diablo 3 still launching this year [Update: Diablo 3 in Q2!]

As far as the first part of that headline goes, yeah, we know -- truly gasp-worthy. Activision head honcho Bobby Kotick revealed plans for a new Call of Duty in the company's quarterly financial report, and that Activision is aiming to grow the Call of Duty Elite service year. Activision is "hard at work on Elite 2.0 with several features to be included in the next Call of Duty release," Activision Publishing CEO Eric Hirshberg added.

Kotick also reiterated that Diablo 3 would launch this year -- though we're assuming it won't make its previous "early 2012" date, unless Activision's idea of early in the year is within the first six months. Diablo 3 has undergone a substantial beta run, and it's still underway.

"Our extraordinary employees around the world are focused on making 2012 another great year for our audience and stakeholders," Kotick said. "Blizzard Entertainment plans to have multiple highly-anticipated titles to release, including Diablo 3, and Activision Publishing expects to release a new Call of Duty game. In addition, Activision Publishing expects to continue to grow Call of Duty Elite and launch Skylanders Giants."

Plot

Operasi Raccoon City akan memungkinkan pemain untuk membuat keputusan yang bisa berakibat besar pada alur cerita seri Resident Evil, seperti menyebabkan kematian protagonis Resident Evil 2 , Leon S. Kennedy.
