History
Founded in year 2005 by furryfish and pinksheep, team Asterisk* is a Singapore-based all-girls team competing in Defence of the Ancients (DotA). It is to date, the first-ever all-girls DotA team in the world. Named by retired player shan*, "Asterisk*" symbolises how different players come together to create a stellar performance.
The team joined forces with clan PMS as its representative Asian division in 2008, and has named Colosseum@Iluma as its LAN homebase in Singapore. It has been actively participating in events and tournaments, attending gaming-related conventions and has been featured on various media from television, print to online.

PROFILE
Tammy Tang, furryfish*
Founder and leader of team PMS* and PMS Asia, Tammy graduated from the National University of Singapore, majoring in Geography and was from the prestigious Raffles Junior College.
She was formerly in all-girls Counter Strike team [Elm]-Lf- and plays Quake and World of Warcraft. Aside from gaming, Tammy is also accomplished in sports and holds national medals in sailing and gymnastics. In her pastime, she enjoys fishing, floorball, reading and polishing her Japanese.
Tammy works as a Community and E-Sports Executive in Razer.

Dawn Yang, pinksheep*
Co-founder and content moderator of PMS*, Dawn graduated from the National University of Singapore, with a shared major in English Literature and Psychology.
Dawn works as a Copywriter by day and cat stalker by night (she has a Norwegian Forest and Maine Coon). She holds Grade 8 ABRSM certification in Piano and is currently taking classes in Cello. Left on her own, Dawn prefers to read, write poetry, visit the tennis court and continent-hop to capture memories with her trusty Canon G10.
Dawn is a self-proclaimed Diablo 2 fanatic and also plays Starcraft and Left4Dead.

Cynthia Santa Maria, w4ndeRz*
Spokesperson of PMS* and co-leader of of PMS Asia, Cynthia is fondly called "Cynnie" by those who know her. She graduated from University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Commerce and is now working at DBS as a Relationship Manager.
A head-turner for her charming Eurasian looks, Cynthia was also a national swimmer in her teens. She has a Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Lucky (indeed), and a day out on the Australian coast boogieboarding is her idea of having a great time.
Cynthia also plays Left4Dead, Quake and Counter Strike in her free time. She used to be a hardcore MMORPG player in games such as Dark Ages and MU.

Kimberlyn See, kaori*
Co-commander and youngest member of PMS*, Kimberlyn is currently pursuing a Diploma from Singapore Polytechnic in Media and Communications.
Affable and approachable, Kimberlyn might adore Hello Kitty, but she's more of a POTM (incidentally her favourite DotA hero) with her aggressive never-say-die approach to gaming. This was never more evident to PMS* as we witnessed her replaying 50 rounds of Final Fantasy in a taxi jam in Bangkok until she defeated the final boss.
Kimberlyn is also an avid console gamer and can be seen at events with her Nintendo DS or PSP.

Ng Huayan, yan*
Strategist and commander of PMS*, Huayan is also known as the "live wire" of the team. Trainings are always more fun and crazy when she's around.
Topping the list of "omgwtf?" things, Huayan has been known to swallow a cockroach (by mistake) and run into a lily pond (thinking it was a field) when she was young. Always intrigued by human behaviors, she is currently pursuing a diploma in Psychology.
Huayan is a free spirit that will never be tied down.

Eliza Tan, zhen.chewy*
Professing love for all things Japanese, Huizhen has been studying the language for more than a year now, to prepare for her grand tour of Japan two years down the road. Not just a gamer, Huizhen has also earned metal in sports - placing second in Interschool Volleyball Championships (2005, 2006) and 20th for Cross-Country (2006).

Aspiring to be a lawyer when she grows up one day, Yvonne is currently a student pursuing her "O" levels certification. Of the wide spectrum of subjects, she especially enjoys history, literature and social studies classes. In her free time, Yvonne goes kayaking, swimming and running. "It explains my tan," she chirps.
